Welcome to Noodlez Cafe and thank you for visiting my site. What I serve here is fiction, in small portions. My specialty is a clean five or ten minute read, deep fried with good humor, simmered with just a touch of insanity. The ingredients may give you heartburn, but they should bring a smile to all.
To be honest with you, rating these stories is pretty difficult. I'm giving you my opinion of them, you'll have to judge them on your own. Like a good dish, we all have our own tastes. I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I did, writing them.
One last thing, I'd appreciate any feedback. Sign up as a member and receive exclusive deals! (A blatant lie written by the author.) Okay, sign up because I'd like to know if anyone is reading my stuff! Publishers and Literary Agents, please drop me a line, I'd absolutely love to hear from you. And please, if you enjoy what you see here, suggest this site to your friends. Ciao!
If you only read one story here, make sure this is the one. Enough said.
An old favorite with a great plot and a better twist.
Served best with a good bread and nice slice of pie.
Unbelievably, penned while wearing a straight-jacket. A tribute to J.D. Salinger. R.I.P.
A strange tale that boldly goes where no man has gone before.
With a name like that, how can you go wrong?
A look back at a different time, served with compassion and triumph.
For anyone who grew up in the 70's.
George Clooney's personal favorite.
Come on, you know it is...
A must-read for any history buff. All true, the story of the last battle of the Indian Wars.
Thank God we keep getting more rules to live by, what would we do without them?
For anyone who has ever wondered about the weird-looking guy at the bowling alley.
When a good marriage goes bad and keeps getting worse.
Come on, you can't handle the truth!
His name was Ray Charles. Who didn't love him? This story has nothing to do with him.
Proves each and every one of Einstein's theories.
I won't say the obvious, I'm secure in the knowledge you know what I'm thinking...

Besides The Battle of Sugar Point, these stories are works of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are either the product of the author's imigination or are used fictitiously, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events, or locales is entirely coincidental.

There seems to be a slight problem in the conversion from Word files to the website page. For some reason the text is compressed at times and two words will be pressed together. I am doing my best to correct the problem. Thank you for your patience!
My personal favorites here are Opting Out and McGinnis Stew. Opting Out is based upon a manuscript I wrote back in 1999 and deals with the devolution of the insurance industry. I challenge anyone to read this and tell me that it couldn't happen. The passing years have only deepened my convictions that we are not only on the slippery slope, but we are skiing down it at a breakneck pace.
McGinnis Stew is something I have been tinkering with and is loosely based upon events from my childhood. I think its my best work to date.
I'll continue to add a few stories each week. If you enjoy what you see, please visit my Members Page and sign up. You'll be notified when I add to the site.
Sieze the day!
